
Second edition of the Spanish Film Screenings fosters loyalty
580 participants, 56 titles screened at the Princesa Cinemas, 117 video library demands, near 20 European journalists and a series of acquisitions deals and negotiations currently in progress.

Madrid de Cine - Spanish Film Screenings, the showcase of Spanish Cinema during this 3-days event closed yesterday with the attendance of 138 buyers from 33 countries, including newcomers from Czech Republic, Croatia or Venezuela, showing a 30% overall increase in comparison to first year edition thus ratifying their interest on Spanish films.
Most watched films were: “XXY”, “La crisis carnívora”, “El club de los suicidas”, “Madrigal” and “La carta esférica”. And at the Video Library: “La caja”, “Pudor” and “Bajo las estrellas”. |
International press invited showed great interest in: “AzulOscuroCasi Negro”, “El menor de los Males” and “Vete de mí”. According to “Time Out”, “these days have been a fantastic immersion on Spanish Cinema.
According to Sogepaq (sales agent), Madrid de Cine “enables us to foster loyalty of our clients, thus achieving a wider knowledge of Spanish Cinema”. Moreover, “Acquisition companies are quite well represented enabling us to take utmost advantage of meetings” (6 Sales).
